I am interested in general neurology, and developing clinical apps for doctors to utilize clinical data and better manage their patients.

I love traveling, my dog Biscuit, and photography. I have a photography business and love film photography and shooting weddings. My research is looking at the use of photographs as a visual social history to improve dignity among patients admitted to the inpatient neurology service.

I am an avid yogi and try to practice 2-3 times a week.  I also enjoy riding my bike and going for a run.  I'm also an enthusiastic foodie.  If I'm not being physically active, I'm probably trying a new restaurant.

I am interested in neurocritical care and paraneoplastic/autoimmune diseases in the critical care setting.  I am currently working on a project with Eric Lancaster investigating the molecular mechanisms of autoantibodies to cell adhesion molecules found in diseases such as Morvan's syndrome, CIPD, and AIDP.

I enjoy taking luxurious 150 mile bike rides when I am not playing with my dog at the park or the beach. However, most of my time is wasted on Netflix and HBO-Go. In my past life, I also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, history, cooking, and being outdoors.  I miss the recreation of the Rockies, especially skiing.

I am passionate about distilling data down to a critical level which allows physicians to be effective in treating patients without unnecessary and excessive variability in practice.  Currently, implementing practical, standardized, evidence-based disease pathways while using bioinformatics to guide management decisions for individual patients are of interest to me.
