Stroke and its societal effects captured my interest from working in my home country, Paraguay. I want to work on mitigating its devastating consequences by promoting prevention and developing a stronger stroke care network. I aim to achieve this by advancing health policies and coordinating long-term, sustainable community-led initiatives.

Specialty coffee, karate, and videogames are things that bring me joy outside of medicine.
