I enjoy reading, crafting, being outdoors, biking (slowly) through Philly, spending time with friends and family, cooking, grocery shopping, and being in my couch watching TV with my husband and two pups.
While I love general neurology, I am most passionate about vascular neurology and will be staying at Penn next year to pursue a neurovascular fellowship. After some time away from the lab, I have found myself drawn back to the bench and motivated by the idea of neuroprotection in the era of thrombectomy. I am also interested in initiatives that promote access to quality healthcare for underserved populations, specifically within urban contexts.
