I enjoy running when I have the time and cooking with my wife. We also have a fun and active 1-year-old who keeps us busy day and night.

My research interests include examining disease mechanism and developing experimental treatments for genetic muscle diseases, with a focus on myotonic dystrophy. I will pursue research focused on developing tools and methods for muscle gene therapy following residency. Clinically, I am interested in neuromuscular medicine and pursue a clinical fellowship after a year of research.
