I am a transplant from Mexico City. I enjoy spending time with my wife Hayley (Pediatrics resident at CHOP) and our goldendoodle Lila. Our hobbies include hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and cooking – also eating.
My clinical interest lies at the intersection between vascular neurology and neurodegeneration. My academic interest is in leveraging multiscale imaging modalities to understand fluid flow in the brain. From the flow of cerebrospinal fluid at a macroscopic scale to the microscopic flow within cells, and how these processes play a fundamental role in fluid balance and removing toxic protein waste from the brain.
