I enjoy exploring various aspects of wellness, including physical exercise such as Tae Bo and high intensity interval training. I also enjoy cooking and trying different restaurants around town. You can usually find me traveling in a different city or spending time with family and friends.

I am interested in vascular neurology and the neurobiology underlying post-stroke neuropsychiatric comorbidities. I am interested in pursuing translational research questions with the goal of elucidating therapeutic targets for neurologic diseases.
