I am a devout lover of ballet, theatre, and food—Philadelphia is an incredible city to explore all of these interests! I could happily live my life eating all of the cheeses of the world. Hosting friends and family for dinner is a favorite pastime.

My academic and clinical interests include acquired disorders of language and reading (aphasia and alexia) and cognitive recovery/neurorehabilitation. My research aims to clarify the neuroanatomical basis of cognitive disorders and cognitive recovery in the setting of neurologic disease, with the hope of better understanding variance in clinical outcomes and how we may best tailor treatment to individual neurologic patients.
