I’m interested in neurocritical care, stroke, and understanding the complex interplay between the nervous and immune systems in acute brain injury. For my PhD, I studied neuroinflammation and microglial responses after subarachnoid hemorrhage and their relationship to EEG changes using animal models and patient data.

I’m also very interested in medical education and have been involved in several projects focusing on clinical pattern recognition, changes to USMLE scoring, the transition to residency, and trainee engagement in academic medicine.

I’m excited to continue work in translational neuroscience research and medical education during my residency training.

Outside of medicine, I love running, hiking, traveling, and checking out all the great food and drink options in Philly!
