Maya Ramy, MD, MPH, MS

Texas A&M College of Medicine, 2024

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, visiting art museums, attending musicals and dance performances, being outdoors, and watching a lot of Netflix! I love reading and find myself usually picking up the latest psychological thriller. I am also a big foodie and am extremely excited to explore Philly’s phenomenal food scene!
Within neurology, my academic interests are focused on autoimmune neurology and transitions to adult care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Outside of neurology my academic interests include access to care, disability advocacy, and value-based care which I have engaged with through research, policy writing, lobbying, and grassroots efforts. I have a passion for improving medical education and mentorship initiatives to help grow the neurology community and encourage learners to pursue their dreams.
