Vanna Hing, MSEd
Program Coordinator
I joined the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and have served as the Residency Coordinator since 2014. In my current role, I manage both the adult and pediatric neurology residency programs, as well as the neurology clerkship, supporting trainees throughout all stages of their medical education.
My responsibilities include coordinating recruitment and onboarding, managing rotation schedules, tracking evaluations, and ensuring compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements. I work closely with residents, medical students, faculty, and GME leadership to ensure a smooth, efficient, and supportive training environment.
I earned my Master’s in Education in 2021, which strengthened my commitment to learner-focused program administration and educational excellence. I’m passionate about supporting our trainees—and during recruitment season, I rely heavily on coffee and spicy food to keep everything running on schedule.
